Le Mans Sensations Editorial Team
The Le Mans Sensations editorial team is the editorial desk of this independent site. It publishes explainers, based on organiser and federation documents, for people new to endurance racing or visiting the circuit for the first time.
What the team covers
- The history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the eras of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
- How to read results tables, technical regulations and the car classification system.
- Watching the race in person: scrutineering, practice schedules, grandstand locations and how to get to the Circuit de la Sarthe.
How we work
Every article starts with a reader’s question and lists its sources: the official federation or organiser website, published regulation documents, and public results databases.
Articles are drafted with generative AI. Before an article is scheduled, the site owner reads it and approves its scope and the sources it lists; articles are not edited line by line. Each article shows the label “AI draft, not edited” and lists its sources at the end. A separate review compares articles with their sources, and an article in which that review finds an error is taken off the site until it is corrected. The full rules are in the editorial policy.
The boundary we keep
Le Mans Sensations is an independent fan site. “24 Heures du Mans”, “Le Mans” and the FIA World Endurance Championship events belong to the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or representing either organisation.
