Le Mans Sensations

About

A new publication on a domain with a past

Le Mans Sensations is an independent reference site about endurance racing. It explains how the 24 Hours of Le Mans works, how the FIA World Endurance Championship has changed across its eras, and what a first race weekend actually involves.

Who runs this site

A new owner has operated this site since November 2026. The responsible legal entity is recorded as [to be completed by the owner].

This site has a new owner. It is not connected to the previous operator of this domain, and it does not inherit their name, their archive or their audience.

Not affiliated with the organiser

The "24 Heures du Mans" name and the Le Mans endurance races belong to the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The FIA World Endurance Championship is run by the FIA together with the ACO. This site is an independent fan publication: it is not endorsed, sponsored, licensed or operated by the ACO, the FIA, or any team, manufacturer or circuit. "Le Mans Sensations" is our own editorial name and is not a brand of the organiser.

What the domain name was used for before

From around 2006 to 2015 this domain hosted an independent fan site about the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with race news, photo albums and travel notes. It was later used by other operators for unrelated content that had nothing to do with motorsport. The team running the site today took over the domain name in October 2026 and operates a new, separate publication; it is not the 2006-2015 fan site, does not hold any of its archive, and is not connected to any of the operators who held the domain after it closed.

We do not restore, recycle or republish any page from those earlier periods, and we do not reuse their text, images or design. Old addresses that belonged to unrelated content return a 410 or a 404 response rather than pointing here.
