Team Oreca Matmut’s Peugeot 908 HDi FAP driven by Nicolas Lapierre and Olivier Panis has won the 1000 Km of Algarve, in Portimao, Portugal. The Peugeot 908 was followed by Rebellion Racing’s Lola Rebellion and Signature’s Lola Aston Martin. First in LMP2 was RML’s Lola HPD followed by Team Bruichladdich’s Ginetta-Zytek 09S and Dams’ [...] Risi Competizione have posted a 12 seconds pit stop video. Oreca announced today that Stephane Sarrazin will be joining the team for the remainder of the Le Mans Series season. Sarrazin will share the seat of Oreca’s Peugeot 908 HDi FAP with Olivier Panis and Nicolas Lapierre. The team’s Ginetta Zytek prototype was badly damaged and requires extensive repairs which will cause the team to miss the next Le Mans Series race in Portugal, mid July.
