IMSA, the American Le Mans Series sanctioning body, has issued regulations for the upcoming 2010 season. The updates focus on safety, performance, the points attribution system and the display of the series logo and the leader lights system.
The A.C.O. have released their 2010 regulations, which can be downloaded here. All contenders to the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2010 will naturally have to comply. Series such as Le Mans Series, American Le Mans Series and Asian Le Mans Series are expected to update their own regulations to reflect A.C.O. changes.
The American Le Mans Series 2010 schedule is now available. There will be a total of 9 races. The season will open at Sebring on March 20th and will end with the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta on October 2nd.
