It’s all over the internet, apparently there’s project for a new 24 Hours of Le Mans film and it seems that Brad Pitt and Josh Brolin are very likely to be a part of it. The announcement also mentions Russel Crowe and Matt Damon, The action is set in the 60s and will tell the story of Ford taking on Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. So I’d say there’s a fair chance we see some awesome GT40 action. If that’s true, I really hope Ford will jump at the occasion and provide the crew with some nice GT40 models.
The film will be based on a book named “Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans” by A. J. Baime and will be produced by Lucas Foster to whom we have to thank for action movies such as Jumper, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Crimson Tide or Bad Boys.
