If you check out the current Petit Le Mans entry list you’ll notice Audi’s not on it, and we didn’t hear any announcement coming out from Germany after Peugeot confirmed their participation. Autobloggreen has contacted Audi to find out more and the answer was that a decision was not yet made about engaging in the two last races of the American Le Mans Season at Petit Le Mans and Laguna Seca.

Peugeot have confirmed yesterday they’ll place two 24 Heures du Mans winning, diesel powered Peugeot 908 HDi FAP on the starting grid of this year’s Petit Le Mans, in the American Le Mans Series. Petit Le Mans takes place at Road Atlanta, a 2.54 miles long, 12 turn track and is one of the most important American Le Mans Series event. Le Mans Series is reporting that Luc Alphand is recovering well while his team, Luc Alphand Aventures, is preparing full steam for the 1000 Km of Algarve.
